Coffee has become a symbol of Vietnamese farmers and agricultural businessmen – the product have highest export value in the country, besides other agricultural products such as rice, pepper, cashew, etc.
Since 1975, the country’s coffee industry has made rapid progress. After the reform in 1986, private enterprises were multiplied, leading to a sudden development of the raw coffee industry. The collaboration between farmers, producers and the government has resulted in the development of the Vietnamese raw coffee.
Nowadays, Vietnamese raw coffee is an essential source of many major coffee powder brand. It is one of the three most important agricultural export commodities of Vietnam. In 2010, the plantation area of coffee reached approximately 540 thousand hectares, ranked 4th about output and ranked in the top about productivity in the whole word. Coffee is a strategic product of HGL over 20 years, from the early days of operation. After more than 20 years of continuous efforts to affirm its own name and position, HGL has achieved remarkable achievements such as: the annual production reach 60,000 tons, become one of the leading companies in the industry with stable and loyal customers.
